Angler

This was a project I gave myself for my Thesis class. I wanted to create an original concept, starting with a sketch in Photoshop and finishing with a Zbrush model. I haven't been very active in Zbrush so I wanted to play around a little more in the program to get more comfortable using it. The overall concept was made so that I could dabble in the horror genre. The design was inspired by Creature of the Black Lagoon, but I wanted it to be darker, and have more of a lurking/stalking nature. Now that the semester is done I want to go in and give the fins of the hands and feet the torn look in the sketch and define his knuckles in the fingers more. I'd also like to take some time to draw a fully rendered piece to add to this collection.
